Can I sue PG&E for the misconduct of an employee who harassed me, violated my privacy rights and divulged my personal info to a felon?
A PG&E Employee accessed my personal information with no legitimate PG&E business reason or any expressed or implied permission from me. She also shared my personal information with a convicted felon. I reported the matter to PG &E. She was reprimanded and suspended. As a result, She threatened and harassed me and my family. I had to move as a result. I wanted to know if PG&E can be liable for their employee actions through FTC or CPUC Rules and Regulations. I would like to pursue these matters in litigation. BTW, Even after they found my claims legitimate she is still employed by the company.
