Why do some snakes lay eggs while others give birth to live babies?
They're all so closely related and similar. Just curious.
This is because they belong to different types of classes and family. They have different families like boidae, colubridae or viperidae. For instance, colubrids like kings, pines and corns lay eggs, whereas boids like boas give birth to offsprings.
Evolution, each does what is necessary for the survival of its young.
