Will my dimple return?

Last Thursday, I had a root canal. The swelling under my right eye (side of the procedure) is still there and my dimple is gone. The endodonist told me not to worry, but I am concerned. I am on antibiotics. My face remains puffy, and my dimple is gone. Will it return?!

Yes.
Swelling is temporary - as soon as your body becomes convinced that the injury is healed, it will go away. DImple is product of more or less permanent arrangement in connective tissue, so you're stuck with it.

Dimples... you want dimples back?!
I hate my dimples. o.e

Anyways, once the puffiness/swelling goes down I think it will show again.
