First of all, I know how frustrating this can be, as I have done it myself. Getting it to work again depends on a few different things. First, it all depends on how long it was in the washer and if it was protected by a cover that is waterproof. If so, then chances of it working are much better than if it did not have one. If it was not protected, and was not submerged for over 15 minutes, it is possible that once it drys out it will work again. The battery will probably be damaged and require a placement. If all else fails you can always contact Apple and see if they will do anything to help you recover the phone. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
Agree with all the rice bag techniques mentioned above. You should also try to disassemble your phone, and try to use a hair dryer to remove any moisture present. After that, keep your disassembled phone under a study light for 12 hours or so. Do not try to turn on/charge the phone during this period. After performing all the above, turn it on. I hope it works out for you.
Yes it happened to me!!!! I realized mine was in the wash 5min later. What you need to do is put the phone in a bag of uncooked rice and barry the phone in it. Ziplock the bag and let it sit for a few hr a day maybe. Worked for me. Hope it works!! Good luck.
Well a lot of people r saying to take it apart well good luck w that it's not easy to do and u probably won't beable to get it back together. U can't take out the battery or the sim card so I would try the rice, but to tell u the truth it's probably not gonna work again. Good luck w that hope u got INS on it.
There's this new product called "BheestieBag" leave the phone in the bag for 72 hours(3 days) and it should dry the phone out and have it working. It's 20 dollars and keep in mind, the sooner it goes in the bag, the better. Be sure you remove the SIM card and slot from the phone before putting it in the bag.
