Can someone be an army ranger with less than three years total service, from day one to discharge?

is it possible for someone to be an airborne ranger with less than three years total service, that is from day one (age 18) to discharge?

You would have to contact the army to find that out. The only requirements to becoming an army ranger is you have to be 18 years of age, be a us citizen and you have to go through the training. I don't think you should have a problem.

Thanks for the reply, what I meant to ask is, would a guy that claims to be a ranger and served total of less than 3 years, be telling the truth or is he a poser?

He is lying. I married an army guy that claimed the same thing. All lies.

Thank you but I need to be certain about this. Stolen valor is a serious deal, there are people who gave everything and people that just bank on other's blood and sweat. If it is, in fact, impossible to be trained as an airborne ranger and go on at least one tour and all within 2 or 3 years of total service then that's proof enough. I'll take it from there.
