I'm having a lot of problems with Sirius, and it's after all the huge solar flares. I have (or have had) the signal resent 4 times, and can finally now pick up stations, but they "blank" out for a few seconds every several minutes. I have spoken to four different people at Sirius (all with accents - I'm curious where they're based), and still have problems. I had to go to "level 3" of problem solving, but still no solution. They created a service ticket and said someone would call me within 48 hours. That was 10 days ago. Luckily, I'm on a trial subscription and have not given any credit card info. I have no intention of paying for subquality radio service, but would appreciate any info anyone else has about their service.
If you are experiencing problems with your Sirius satellite radio, first try to turn the radio on and off because some problems may be eradicated by simply turning the radio off, and then waiting a minute to turn it on again. Check the connections going into the receiver, and you can find out more details on http://www.ehow.com/how_2145884_troubleshoot-sirius-satellite-radio.html.
I was having problems with my Sirius radio until my battery had to be replaced. All of the channels I could not get came back once I put my new battery in. So if you are having trouble unhook your battery and wait for at least an hour and rehook it. I think my radio needed a hard re-boot.
