Can multiple search warrants be issued if the wanted items were not found the first time?

Once a search has been completed and certain items they were looking for were not found, can another search warrant be granted for the same items? I am scared to death they will be breaking down my door again any minute, because they didn't find what they were looking for the first time...

I think a search warrant can be re-issued for your home. If the police did not find anything from their first visit then you do remain as a person of interest. If they do present enough evidence to the judge, then multiple search warrants can be issued to search your house.

I'd a judge determines there is just cause, then yes they may continue to search. However they need to have a judge sign off on each warrant and any respectable judge will question the need to search if nothing turned up on previous attempts.
