Blood on underwear! Not pregnant! Period isn't due till the 30th.

last night I saw blood on my underwear. I thought my period was early so I put a pad on. now my pad has a white discharge and no blood. I am not pregnant. haven't had sex since before my last period. also, it was protected sex and I know I am not pregnant, so the bleeding isn't pregnant symptom or anything. my periods aren't due till the 30th. this has never happened before so I am a little worried. does anyone know anything about it? thanks

Or before you have a heart attack with that.... You could just menstruating a lil early! Bodies change! I do agree that you should get in to your gynecologist!!!

That's what I thought but then just now my pad was all clean with white discharge. I'm never regular with my periods so I was just like "oh so they came early" but apparently not.

The blood you saw on your underwear could be caused by Chlamydia, uterine fibroids or birth control pills. Either of these things can cause you to experience some spotting at times. You should visit your gynecologist for a proper check up and diagnosis.

Women sometimes have irregular cycles. Maybe you've got your period a few days early which is common. But this doesn't mean that you just have to ignore this since you've mentioned that this has not happened before. So yeah it's best to visit a specialist and find out the real reason behind this. I hope it's nothing serious.

My discharge was white this morning. No more blood. So that's how I know it isn't my period. But yes you are right, I'm gonna see my gyno soon.

Could just be spotting a few days before. Totally normal and no sense wasting a pad.

Oh my god you made me feel so much better. All my friends are guys, so I barely know how other girls deal with their periods. But it's so good to know that I'm talking to someone who has been through it. YAYYYYY theirs nothing wrong with me lol

It could be a yeast infection or bacteria vaginitis. That would produce discharge as well. It sometimes happens when normal bacteria is disrupted in some way. You can find a home test (local drugstores by pads and stuff) to check your pH level. It is sometimes accompanied by itching and slight burning while urinating. It's good you made an appointment to find out for sure but hope it helps in the meantime.

Your welcome. Can always check to see if a nurse practitioner can see you sooner at your GYN office. They sometimes have more openings and can make the same diagnosis as your doctor. Good luck.

A few years ago they found a mole in my labia. Ever since then I have to see my oncologist/gyno twice a year. So im just going for my semi annual check up in two weeks. I wouldn't trust a practitioner I guess :/

Could be irregular, early period, leftover blood, ( was it dark?) or yeast infection. If it doesn't happen again, I wouldn't worry. If you see more discharge with other symptoms. Make an appointment, I think you are ok.

Oh man, it was kinda brown. But no it isn't period :/
But you are right when I googled it it said that sometimes it does happen and if it's a one time thing I shouldn't worry about it. One gyno said in an article that every woman gets this at least once in her lifetime. Well I hope it isn't an std because I have only done it protected with one guy.
Gosh you totally calmed me down lol. How are you sweety?

My period is due on the 30th. So it could be some leftover blood from last time getting out.
Funny stuff happens to our bodies.

Yeah, that's what I thought, most likely it's leftover because it's dark, or brownish. The discharge could be infection or not. Do you have cramps , pain? Get some OTC yeast treatment, it should disappear. If not, you need to get it checked, you might need antibiotics. Good to see you!

Yeah I have an appt on feb 17th. So I'm gonna show it to him. I have had yeast before so I cam tell its not that. Well I'm glad no one thought it could be pregnancy lol.
