No you do not get your money back (sorry to say) but if you decide to re download the app you are not charged because it was already purchased one before. Sorry if you weren't planning on downloading it again. I hope the app wasn't a lot of money
Like others have already answered, no, you will not get your money back, but if you decide you want it again in 6months you can download it again, this time free of charge. (this is a nice feature to have in case you lose your device or it gets damaged or stolen etc.. you know that once you get a replacement, all the money you put out for apps will not have gotten wasted.) It sucks, I know.. I've caught myself wanting a refund on a few apps here and there. Getting in jams like this is why you should always ALWAYS seek out the free version of an app first (if available of course) to make sure you like it. And actually, I've found that alot of the "free" or "lite" versions of certain apps are pretty much just as good as the paid version. I had a free game that I liked and decided to pay the $2.99 for the full version, come to find out that I spent $3 to just get rid of advertisements. The ads were not that bothersome, I could have dealt with them, and I got NO extra features in the game itself. But since we can't get our money back, I usually keep the app anyway (unless I'm running out of memory) and try to force myself to enjoy it anyway!
