I had a cyst on my wrist last year and now it's gone but i still feel the same pain why?

Can anyone tell me why I still experience the same pain I did as when the cyst was on my wrist? I never went to the doctor for it because my parents told me nothing was wrong and it will go away soon. I'm not exactly sure if it was a cyst but I'm almost positive it was. The pain is unbearable and I get it like every 2 weeks, i can't even bend my wrist when it's hurting. Can someone please help me by answering my question, thanks!

The cyst is a sac of fluid which resolved on it's own by draining.
However, the sac is still there & may be pressing on a nerve and that is why you have the occasional but severe pain.
You really should see a doctor.
You may want to take anti- inflammatories like motrin and put hot or ice on it -whatever makes it feel best. I would think ice would be best.

Well I was at the doctor a week ago for something else and my mom metioned it and he agreed with her... But I don't think he really knew about the whole cyst before he probably only knew about the pain. I have another question, what can happen if I don't see a dctor soon?

I am not a doctor but I bet it will get better with time. If it flares up and it feels worse or the episodes become more frequent it might be good to see the doctor again.
The body is amazing in it's ability to heal itself.

Well the pain in my wrist is back any suggestions on how to make it feel better for now? It seems that my wrist hurts every week now I just want this pain to be gone for good because of sports and it's just really annoying.

If you had a cyst on your wrist and it went away, that means that the fluid was just drained out of it. The cyst can grow back in that same exact spot. Your wrist could be really sensitive in that area and that is why you are still feeling the pain. You can speak with a doctor for more info.

I really hope it doesn't come back! The problem with asking a doctor is my parents refus to take me to one... So basically the cyst isn't completley gone, it just looks like it is?

Yes a cyst can come back at any time but some people get lucky and do not see a reappearence.

Parasites can dig into your flesh and lay eggs or whatever. The holes from this kind of cyst stay with your whole life and cause a lot of pain.
