Do you feel queasy, like you would vomit if you tried to eat anything, but your stomach is growling at the same time? I have that happen to me sometimes. I've trained myself to suppress the feeling of hunger if it isn't too strong - such as when I've eaten in the past hour or when I'm queasy. If the hunger is distracting, I usually pick peanuts, crackers, or yogurt, something like that. It's really a mental thing: you have to convince yourself to either stop feeling nauseous or to stop feeling hungry.
