I'm not sure, so therefore you really should ask your doctor. Just call the office, and ask over the phone. I do know that in 1978-1979 alka-seltzer was removed from shelves everywhere, pending an investigation. One man had purchased some, took them, and had a heart attack. It was proven that they can cause your heart to bloat up, if you don't release the air that it create's, and kill's you. This guy did have a history of heart problem's, but the autopsy showed that the alka-seltzer added too much pressure to his heart. I'm not trying in any way to scare you, just letting you know to be extra careful in your condition. Again, I'm asking you, please ask your doctor ? I do not think it would harm the baby, but better safe than sorry.
Alka Seltzer is not recommended to be used during your pregnancy. It is considered unsafe because it contains aspirin. Try using Tums, Mylecon, Milk of Magnesia, or Maalox as they are considered safer. If though you have any concerns, it's best to talk with your doctor.
