What are some good heavy metal bands

i would like mostly screamo bands but anything really thats good metal

Well, if you want music that's a little older, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are some of the best heavy metal bands. If you want something that is more of today's sound (ie., a bit more modern), go for Slayer, Death, and Helloween.

A Murder Of Crows (AMOC), local adelaide, australia band. they kick ass!!

I do have to contend your question for a moment and then ask a question of my own: "screamo" and "heavy metal" are two completely different forms of music. Did you mean you wanted heavy metal, screamo, or "death metal," which is a very dark and typically fast paced form of metal that usually contains a form of melodic screaming or death-growling?
