Help me find the perfect mascara

I want something that is volumizing and defining, but looks natural. I am 14 years old, so I want something age appropriate. I wear contacts and when I wear mascara or eyeliner my eyes get itchy and irritated. What's the perfect mascara for me?

After *years* of not being able to wear eyeliner or mascara, I finally found something that does not irritate my eyes at all. The blog and book No More Dirty Looks explains about the chemicals that are used in most of the mainstream makeup that is sold. One of the brands that doesn't have chemicals is Jane Iredale. They have great mascara in quite a few shades. They also have a great lash conditioner that you put on before the mascara that feels amazing and makes your lashes feel both soft and strong. They also have eyeliner. I tried a few and the one that worked best for me is called Mystikol. I could never get eyeliner to go on right before, but this one works great. If you are better at putting it on, you could try some of the other ones as well. I bought mine online at their Web site janeiredale.com. My eye doctor wears this brand, too! Good luck!

I found the best mascara would be Clinique. There are a couple of things that I like about it. After I put it on and the humidity is high, I don't have mascara dots below and above my eyes. It also seems to be good for sensitive eyes and does not glob on so it makes you eyelashes look natural.

Go with the Almay One Coat Thickening mascara. It adds pretty good volume, and length, if you add enough coats. And it doesn't look too dramatic like you put on a bunch of mascara, it looks pretty natural, Almay is one of the best brands for that. (: you could go with Maybelline Colossal since you want volume, but you wanted something not too dramatic. You could go for a high end mascara but I think it's pointless because mascaras have to be disposed of any 6 months anyways and you'd spend $25 on a tube if you want a Dior mascara or Chanel or whatever.

I just finished the quest for the perfect mascara by trying the Sephora sampler plus a few recommendations. The winner: Supernova by Fresh! Great wand for lengthening & thickening. Runners up are Lash Injection by Twofaced, Dior Show & Badgal by Benefit. The clinique one is also good, separates nicely.

I've tried all mascaras. It's all personal preference but the best products for the money are Avon products.

If you wear contacts, the best mascara is good old fashioned Maybelline Great Lash. Also, you need to change your mascara tube every 3 months, or your eyes will get itchy no matter what kind it is. Make sure you don't put the eyeliner on the insides of your eyelids. Put it on the outside of your lashes, right next to them, or it will mess with your contacts.
