What Kind of Food Should I Eat If I Have Colitis?

Report as

Those suffering from colitis should work with a doctor and/or nutritionist to create a healthy dietary plan that meets your health needs. This diet should include high amounts of protein (meats, eggs), complex carbohydrates, whole grains, and an array of “good” fats. This means lots of vegetables and fruits, and oils (olive or canola), as well as whole grain breads, cereals, and pastas. http://www.webmd.com/ibd-crohns-disease/ulcerative-colitis/creating-an-ulcerative-colitis-plan
