How do you play the imaginary purple hat game?

There are actually no standard rules when playing the imaginary purple hat game. If you know the trick, you can tell the "story" by saying you have the hat then throw it to the next person who gives it to the third person. It can keep going on and on until you want to stop. Then the players try to guess who has the hat and who ever guesses correctly gets a point.
