Has anyone ever gone CouchSurfing before?

Over the summer, I really Really REALLY want to go CouchSurfing, but I've never tried it before....My cousins went CouchSurfing through Europe, and they had an awesome time! Is there anyone who has CouchSurfed before? If so, where did you go, what was the experience like, and was it safe?

Well, personally I haven't gone on one but from the reviews given, I would say it sounds a real thrill. People have been couch surfing in Iceland, Africa, and the Philippines among other places. You can check out some reviews on www.brendansadventures.com/my-review-of-couchsurfing/.

Depends on if you do it for fun or if you have to because you are so poor you can't afford your own space. It can be a very negative experience.
