Think of 2 fruits: Apple and Pear. The apple has the most in the middle, right? The pear has the most at the bottom, correct?
My friend is what people call an "apple" shape. I'm a "pear". People with the apple shape have the most fat in their stomach area. It's fast for them to lose that fat - if they try - BUT that's also the really unhealthy fat that attaches to your organs even. A pear shape has a harder time to lose the fat but this is mostly surface fat just under the skin and on top of the muscle.
Different people gain weight in different areas and of course they'll also lose weight at different speeds in those areas.
The belly is the hardest part of the body to get rid of fat. The fat is either caused by aging, genetic makeup or hormones which are hard to control. There are two major types of these fats; the visceral fats that are deposited around the major organs and the subcutaneous which lies just under the skin. I have a different area that I can't lose weight in no matter how hard I try. It's actually a disease which a lot of women suffer from. I cannot lose weight in my breasts. Some men think that's cool, but all it does is cause massive back problems. You have to get rid of the fat via surgery sometimes. Not cool. And please, gentleman, let's be adults about this. I understand I mentioned a highly suggestible answer. Don't go crazy about it, ok?
