Why wont ooVoo open on mac?

So I downloaded ooVoo on my dad's computer, but when I try to click it, it bounces up a couple times then just sits there and wont open. I want to talk to my friends but now I cant! Please help!!!

The ooVoo application might not be opening in your MAC because; it might be lacking some settings. You should refer to the user guidelines it comes with, or try using it on another machine.
