How Much Is a 2 Dollar Bill Worth?
Two dollar bills have become very collectible since their re-release in the 70s. They are sadly still only worth two dollars, unless you happen to hold a two dollar bill issued in 1953, which is worth $2.50.
The value of a $2 bill can vary depending on the year of its circulation. If circulated between 1976 and later, they will be worth only $2-$3, but older versions can be worth $3-$700.
A two dollar bill is still worth two dollars. This currency is neither old enough or rare enough to be more valuable.
Some $2 bills are worth just their face value of $2. I have found some "Red Seal" $2 bills that are selling for as much as $15.99 on Amazon, as of August of 2011.
