I'm 18 and I'm getting married in 9 days. Don't listen to people who say your "too young". It's your life and your decision. if you love her and your ready to commit to a marriage then go ahead. if you are willing to move down there for her then i would say you are a very good man. go down there for a visit and she what you think. if your feelings don't change than go for it. and if you can't go down there for a visit and you feel in your heart you love her then do it.

Go visit her before you make up your mind-make it SEVERAL visits of varying length. We can be very different in person than the persona we project on line. We tend to hide our faults from others when we're on line. You have PLENTY of time after you 2 meet to think about the marriage issue. I really like that you want to hold off on marriage til AFTER you 2 get your degrees-its a rough world economically and I don't think a lot of younger people know how bad it is out here cos they've always lived at home & never HAD to work. This way the 2 of you won't be stuck in dead end jobs & fighting over $$$ like so many do. You sound like a good, sensible man, the kind of man I'd like for a son in law. BUT-don't burn your bridges behind you. Make sure by visits that you guys think as well together & get along as well in person as you do on line, on VOP, or by video.
