I need help on this one!

A unit fraction has a numerator of 1 and a denominator that is a positive whole number greater than 1. The fraction 1/2 is an example of a unit fraction. Find two different ways that 1/2 can be written as the sum of two unit fractions. Please EXPLAIN this to me!!

The two different ways  can be written as the sum of two unit fraction are; 1/2 = 1/4 + 1/4 and 1/2 = 1/3 + 1/6. This applies where all unit fractions are different. A unit fraction is a rational number written in form of a fraction; the numerator is1 and the denominator is a positive integer.
