How do you factor polynomial expressions

Report as

Simple factoring of polynomial expressions is backwards from distributing. This means that instead of multiplying something through parentheses, you check what you can take back out and put in front of a parentheses. Check out how to do this on www.purplemath.com/modules/simpfact.htm.
