A low cholesterol diet is made up of foods that can positively fight high levels of cholesterol along with foods that are by natural means low in cholesterol: fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, olive oil, Omega-3 rich fish like salmon, halibut, tuna and mackerel. A low cholesterol diets consists of a lot of fruits and vegetables as well as lean proteins. Non-fatty oils, such as olive oils, are recommended as are whole grains and 8-10 cups of water per day.
