how long does suboxone stay in system

Report as

That depends on how long you have been taking it. It has a 36-hour shelf-life, meaning that if you take 8 mg today, there will still be some in your system for up to 36 hours. So if you take it for a week, the same amount everyday then it builds up so it would take about 48 hours or more to feel the withdraws from it in full effect. Suboxone does not show up on regular drug tests and will not show up as any kind of opiate on a regular test, even though it is in the opiate family.

The amount of time Suboxone stays in your system is dependent on weight, metabolism, hydration, diet, potency, and duration of use. For one dose, it could be three to five days. Suboxone stays in your system for around 8 hours to a full day. There are always factors that change these estimates when it comes to medications.
