Where can i find pictures of antique wooden beds from the 1750-1780's?

I have a bed that is very old and has the date 1779 stamped in it but no maker,I would like to know its worth and if I should have insurance put on it.

Try the Internet. However, that date would put it as one of the oldest items in America. Oh if you are in America of course.

I am in America,I bought the bed at a thrift store an gave it to my Mom,then she got her a new bed and gave this one back to me, it had the original iron springs with it but she threw them away, and whoever had it before modified it to fit queen size, its never been stripped an painted though, does have some repair issues, but is being used as a bed, ot has no maker stamp on it just 1779 in the wood head board, so if I could possibly get any info on this I would really like to know if I have a piece of American Hisory
