President asked who facilitating the meeting and I replied it was i or it was me or it was myself?

it was I, it was me, it was myself

I am a southerner, so naturally I would reply "it was me". I say this because you should be natural in talking to president as you would anyone else. Not to say that he does not deserve to be respected, because he deserves the utmost respect, but he is human.

Why not just "I facilitated the meeting?"

Or "I did".

Keep it simple.
