There are many ways to cook pork chops. To know how long to cook them depends on thickness, way that you are cooking rather grill, fried, or baked. Normal size for frying would be 10 to 15 minutes on each side, baking at temperature 350 about 45 minutes, and grill about 10 to 15 minutes on both sides.
The best way to cook pork chops is on the stovetop using a heavy cast-iron pan. Heat pan, add a small amout of oil, and sear pork chops 2 minutes on one side. Flip chops over, turn off heat and allow to finish cooking about 5 minutes or so.
