How Many Days Do I Have to Return a Used Car?

It depends on the dealer or the state for which you purchased the car, but of course there should be a good reason why you should return your used car. Check the return policy or warranty, if you have any, upon buying the car. Most cars or car dealers offer different warranties when selling cars. Check also your state or location, as some states allow 3 days for the buyer to return a used car.

There is normally a 3-day grace for buyer’s remorse. Every state is different though and if you sign a contract that says, "As Is" you cannot return it.
