How do I unstick my iPod touch lock button?

I went skiing with it and then when I tried to use it again, I noticed that the button would not click and when looking at it closer, I realized that the button was physically stuck down. I have already tried looking at other sites, but so far nothing has worked. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I think the best thing to do is to use a toothpick. You can also dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol. Get the tip of the swab moist, but make sure you swab off any lose droplets of rubbing alcohol before using the swab, as you don't want to expose your iPod Touch to excessive moisture. Take it to the place were you bought it and have them fix it. If it got any water at all on it then that could be the cause. At such high altitudes then I would advise putting your iPod on airplane mode
