How much does it cost to leave a 90w flood light on per hour?

I have found that the EcoSmart Soft white clear 90w floodlight will cost you $6.50 per bulb. These are 23 watts and replace the 50 and 75 watt halogen floodlights. You will save $67 per bulb. So depending on how many you are using you will multiply that by the number of bulbs you have and you can find your savings.

An energy flood light saves you money yearly. The box usually says it saves 35 to 65 dollars yearly.

If you install an on at night off in the day, and it's an energy bulb it should not cost a lot to leave it on. If you can not have the light installed, use an energy bulb.

You can off set the cost of burning your flood light bulb by unplugging something you do not use all the time. Just plug it in when you need it and unplug it when you are finish.

the math: 24 hours/day x 365 day/year x 90 watts/hour = 788,400 or 788.4 kw/hour per year

788.4kw/hour x .08 (find out the cost of your electricity), but for math purpose let's use .08

788.4 kw/hour x .08 per kw hour = 63.072 year 5.256 per month
