I have had good success with a cool cloth on my head and sleeping. Make your room as cool and dark as you can and relax with a cool cloth spread over your face. This will relax you and let you fall asleep. This helps me a lot.
Apply pressure to pressure point areas - bridge of your nose, middle of forehead, even your thumbnails - I will bite my nail on the side it's located until I know the correct pressure ( at least, for me) Investigate pressure points for entire body & then see which ones work for you. Of course, dark room, lie down and increase water intake. Find apps for pain relief and read why the music works. It will have you set up so the underlying beats are barely audible and will find your healing rhythm.
