My smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector has gone off but there's no smoke or anything else what should I do

Well you may not think that there is anything but you can never be too careful! If I were you, I would call either the gas or the electric company out to check it out as they may find some underlying problem that you couldn't see.

I just found put what problem was. Cooking this evening I turn one burner on low and apparently i didn't turn it off. It's off now and I'm happy that I found out before going to bed. Thanks again and that's a mistake I will not make a second time.

I found I had to do general maintenance by wiping it off and vacuuming them once in awhile or they were always going off after about two years.
