Would a dehumidifier help the air conditioner

Usually, if all of the rooms in your home are not occupied, a dehumidifier will help with the air conditioning, in one or two rooms. Dehumidifiers work using the same concept as an air conditioner - they remove the humidity from the air. The difference is that a dehumidifier covers a smaller area, because the unit is smaller.
