I have a six years old daughter and is it possible to open an Savings account for her? (are there an age criteria?)
Yes it is possible to open an account for her at no charge at all. You just need to identify an account with no monthly charges and ensure that there is no limit on the amount of small deposits. Check out http://kidmoney.about.com/od/savingmoney/p/savings-account.htm.
I don't think so. I don't remember exactly how old I was, but I've had one since I was really little.
Yes. I've done it. Both your names will have to be on the account. Until she's 18 she will gave to have you get money out of the account but she can always (not that she would at 6) make deposits at anytime.
yup it can be done, did it with all of my brothers and sisters kids....... now im broke. lol
