Good books? I'm in eighth grade got a 12.9 reading level. So I can read bigger and more challenging books.

There are some books that everyone should read. To kill a mocking bird. The Grapes of Wrath. Republic. Lord of the flies. Animal farm. Go tell it on the mountain. It's good to look at the world through someone elses eyes.

If you like fantasy try the first six The Dragonlance Chronicles. I read them the first time my senior year in High School.

Eragon, the Mysterious Benedict Society, Harry Potter (of course), and a Wrinkle in Time are some of my favorite series.

I don't know if you're into Young Adult fiction but I love Sarah Dessen. You seem like one of those very smart, advanced readers. Which is a great thing! :)

I know!!! I only have one book left of hers to read. This Lullaby. I read half of What Happened To Goodbye, but it was super slow and not as good as the others. But people keep telling me to pick it back up again because it does get really good. I also thought that That Summer was really boring. But it was her first book, so ya can't blame her. :)

If you're into a good series, think that classic books like To Kill a Mockingbird are dull, and enjoy fiction, I recommend these: Gregor the Overlander, I Am Number Four, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and if you don't mind vampires, Eighth Grade Bites. I'm not putting down classics, I just find them boring since they reflect real life in its own tale.
