how old do you have to be to join cub scouts in California

A boy can be any age and become a Bobcat which is the first rank that any Boy Scout will have to go through first. Then they will be a Tiger which starts in the first grade at age 7.

You can join the boy scouts anytime before the age of 18. Kids can be as young as 5 when they join the Boy Scouts of America.
