I do lots of running and sports, am not fat ( just a bit of stomach) but my weight 90 kg and am 179 cm. my bmi says 28.1 which means obese?

I wanna know why i weight to much even though am not fat

BMI has been proven to be inaccurate to measure obesity. It does not take into account lean muscle mass in individuals. BMI was actually invented as a measurement for groups of people, not individuals.

If your body weight is 90 kg, your height 179 cm and your BMI says 28.1, then you are overweight. A person with BMI that ranges from 25 to 29.1 is considered to be overweight. Therefore, you should try and let it drop to at least 22.
