Do i glaze a cake when it is hot or cooled
If you try to glaze a cake that's hot, much of the glaze will soak into the cake (it's more porous when it's hot.) As the cake cools, it contracts; and the glaze will stay on the outside of your cake.
Cooled. If you do it when it's hot it'll get messed up .
It depends. I do it when it's almost cooled.
after it has cooled to room temperature.
Cooled if its still hot the icing will just melt off the cake.
Cooled bc if u glaze it when it is hot it wil fall apart.
Cool. Otherwise the glaze melts and runs off the cake.
Cool. It will like, separate if it's hot.
I like it when the cake is cold and the glaze is nice and hot.
Cool if it's warm or hot the temperature still needs to come out of the cake. The glaze will melt and get runny. And u don't want that
the cake should be cooled and the glaze should be hot
