does an ohio school district still receive state money for home schooled students

Report as

School funding is based on a dollar amount per student. If enrollment goes up, then funding goes up. In some states, schools can count a student who attends part time, and so schools will invite homeschooled students to participate in band or other activities so that they can claim them on the roles. School age children who do not participate in any of the school's activities are not counted in the roles and the district does not get funding for them.
