Why do guys always text one word responses when women type whole paragraphs?

My girlfriend says the same thing,I tell her that texting is a teen thing & men just don't have much to say- we are simple creatures

At some points they don't know what to say or they haven't caught on yet that your talking bout something important eh it's just guys trust me I hate when they do tht it's super confusing!
