does champagne go bad with age

Report as

As long as it is kept in a cool, dry spot that a low or no light and remains tightly sealed, champagne will not go bad. Once opened, champagne should be drank within 24 to 48 hours before it loses its effervescence.

Yes, champagne does go bad with age. An unopened champagne will only stay fresh for approximately 2-4 years.

Champagne can go bad. All wines can go bad, including champagne. Fluctuations in temperature should be avoided when storing wine.

Champagne ages, and will go bad eventually, but not for a really long time as long as it was stored properly. Many say aged champagne tastes less fruity and more nutty.
