Odysseus (Which means "to be read aloud" in Latin) struggled with many feelings but the main one was weather he could successfully defeat the Kraken in battle. This was a tall order and complicated by the fact the his brother Iliad was attempting to slay this monstrosity as well. He knew that the victor of this epic battle would be told about for centuries to come and the gods themselves would bow down and pay honor to the victor.
Late that night Odysseus arose from his slumber and cut the jugular of his brother. With no one standing in his way he went to fight the Kraken. The sounds of the battle were heard in the heavens and all on earth looked upon the battle before them.
Alas the great beast was to strong and the hero became a martyr. And this story now includes both brothers bc of how hard they failed.
