Could a 13 year old boy work with a 14 year old girl?

I am an almost 13 year old boy that likes a 14 year old girl. I was wondering if it could still work? I'm in 7th grade and she is in 9th. I met her playing basketball at a church, and she's the pastor's daughter. I really like her, but I don't think she's too interested in me. But I do just want to be friends for now.

i think it will work if you really love her i know a couple that are 10 years apart and in the old days like in the bible the girls were 15 and the men 30 so age doesn't matter

Love has no age if she likes u then try it out. Just act mature cuz u don't want her to think ur too childish. And dont b too serious either. Good luck :)

She's not too serious of a girl herself. xD
I haven't talked to her too much yet, but we're on the road of friendship I guess.

I have been a little confident I'd say. She probably knows I like her though from previous mistakes. -.-
I'll try to start a real conversation soon though, then we can be friends. :)
