I have been going through your questions & am noticing a theme. I admire that you are trying to pursue a dream, but you REALLY need to learn a lot about the animals you want to breed. Dwarf vs Teddy bear hamsters is inaccurate. There are many varieties of dwarf hamsters, but Teddy bear is only one kind of Syrian hamster. In general, syrians are easier to handle, & a lot calmer around people. Before you go into your breeding business, get the ...for Dummies book about each kind if animal you wish to breed. These books have a phenomenal amount of information about the animals, including breeding. We own freshwater fish, hermit crabs, & a hamster, & I one all 3 of those ...for Dummies books. I sincerely wish you luck in all your endeavors!

In my opinion, dwarf hamsters are better simply because my son has owned both and the dwarf hamsters never bit him but the teddy bear one did. Also, the dwarf hamsters all lasted longer than the teddy bear hamster did. Also the teddy bear hamsters are more prone to getting mites and fleas than a dwarf hamster.

Not all hamsters are mean. I've always heard that dwarf hamsters tend to be nastier than Teddy bear hamsters. Both of mine were nice, but I still liked my panda bear hamster best. :)

There's a Panda Hamster?? Is it the same as a Teddy Bear Hamster?

My two Teddy bears act the same as my Panda, but my Panda was more interesting! It mostly just depends on their personality. My panda was a cutie too. ;)

My experience with hamsters, in general, has been pleasant. I really don't think it matters which type you get. Although - just like any other "furry friend" - they all do have their own :personalties".You really can't judge an individual animal just on the grounds of "bred".

Dwarf hamsters are the best. I had one once and it would watch hockey woth my dad. When it died i went to tje pet store and the guy told me dwarf hamsters were mean so i got a teddy bear hamster. That hamster broke out of its cage and i found it a week later at night. Then it died a little later because it ate one of my brothers toys so dwarfs are way better.

I have had both and I think teddy bear is nicer, when I first got my dwarf hamster I held him and he bite my finger and would not let go, but my teddy bear hamster only bit me when I gave her a treat and she bit my finger instead of the treat. But it really depends on the hamster but I think dwarf hamsters are "mad". Hope this helped!

Dwarfs are better as they are smaller and cuter
I suggest you to buy a Russian winter white dwarf hamster

Teddy bear! I have one of my own and he never bit me! Dawf hamsters live to be 2-3 and teddy bear hamsters live to be 5-6. Dawf hamsters a speedy little things and teddy bears hamsters calm down after a while you hold them. Teddy bear hamsters arnt like a bar of soap in your hands:) teddy bear hamsters get there name because they are the gentlest hamster and they are so soft. I really hope this helps.
