Can you get off the greyhound and stay the night in a town and re-board the next day with the same ticket to your destination?

going from butte, mt to alabama and wanting to stay the night in billings, mt and re-board the bus

You cannot buy a Greyhound ticket where you are supposed to sleep over in one place and proceed to another. You can only buy an express ticket, meaning you have to buy two tickets if you are planning to get off somewhere first. However, it would be best if you talked to someone at the Greyhound offices.
