Can I hook up a usb keyboard to my kindle fire? if so what usb do i use?

Yes, you can hook up a USB keyboard to your Kindle Fire which uses a combo USB. The USB port can also be used to charge the tablet as well as connect to a computer to transfer files to and from the Kindle Fire.
