Comparing Goodyear tire and Cooper tire in terms of durability, Goodyear tire is better. This is because of how it is made for ultra-high performance with a blend of refined appearance and gripper unlike the Cooper tires, which have been designed with a limited-performance.
cooper is one of the oldest tire manufacturers, like all companys they make cheap tires and good tires, the way to compare tires is by the sticker on it ,there should be a wear rating and traction rating, a high number on wear is better but it means its a harder tire, giving less traction, old michelen x's would go for 90k, but scary in the rain ! I had a set of coopers that had a 600 treadwear that went for 80k,again scary in the rain.dont confuse the mileage warrenty with treadwear,it maybe warrented for 60 k but bald in40 !!,a stickey tire like on a vette or similar may only have a treadwear of 200. buy a tire that is rec. by someone you trust, or if you dont like the wear on it get a higher number, but you can't get both !! you also need to take in account the weight ,a,b,c,d, d holds more than a, and temp. rating if your going cross country (truck drivers) you dont want it to overheat and blowout halfway !
