Can I put smaller tires on my 2007 Nissan Murano

NTB is telling me I can replace my 65R/18's with 60R/18's without causing any problems. My son-in-law says my car's brain will need to be reset if I do this. Can anyone help?

When replacing tires you should always refer to Tire and Load Guide (Sticker located in the driver’s door jamb).

This may void the factory warranty!
We recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than 3% will increase the risk of brake failure.

Below are differences in the 2 tires.
