Am I entitled to pain and suffering when I was rear ended at 8 months pregnant, even though my child was born with no complications?

I had to go to the hospital for extra ultrasounds, blood work, and monitoring. Although things looked okay there was no guarantee that my baby would be alright until she was born. I had to wait over 3 weeks to know if she would be healthy. I am thankful and blessed that she is okay but does that mean I'm not entitled to anything for my weeks of misery?

If your baby was born alright, and all the tests carried out on you chances are that you might have not been badly affected by the rear-end. It would be best suitable for you to visit a counselor because you might be suffering from trauma and panic. This is a normal after effect, but you need to get it checked before it gets to you.
